Research Interests

Cultural anthropology; visual anthropology; dance; gender and age roles; kinship; social network analysis; Latin America; Celtic studies; Native American studies; peasant societies; economic anthropology; and applied anthropology.

Current Research

Most of my recent research has focused on social networks, particularly of social service organizations.  I have also done a study of Native American powwows and done some photography for the National Geographic Society. 

I plan to teach anthropology at NKU's Grant County Center.
